Miss World 2025 Opal Suchata Chuangsri grateful for Telangana's hospitality

Hyderabad, Jun 1 (UNI) Newly crowned Miss World 2025, Opal Suchata Chuangsri from Thailand, expressed heartfelt gratitude for the warm hospitality extended to her in Telangana during the global pageant held at Hyderabad's Hitex on Saturday.

The Thai beauty, who won the coveted 72nd Miss World crown, said she was deeply moved by her victory and her experience in the state.

Speaking to the media, Opal said, “I am indebted to the hospitality in Telangana. The people here made me feel respected and welcome, and I will never forget them.” She added that winning the Miss World title was a dream come true and described the moment she received the crown as both emotional and shocking.

She announced her intention to continue working on the 'Beauty with Purpose' initiative and committed to undertaking social service activities in Telangana. "Promoting Telangana tourism brought me great joy, and places like Chowmahalla Palace and Pillamarri left a lasting impression on me," she said.

Opal emphasised that all participants in the Miss World competition were winners in her eyes and reflected fondly on her journey, saying it was full of learning and personal growth.

She also spoke about her interest in Indian cinema, expressing admiration for former Miss World winners Manushi Chhillar and Priyanka Chopra. “Priyanka inspired me, and I had the chance to meet Manushi at the finale,” she shared. A fan of Bollywood films, she mentioned Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi as a favourite and promised to watch Baahubali, which she has heard much about.

The Thai beauty hinted at her interest in acting, stating, “If the opportunity comes, I would love to act in a Bollywood movie—it would be a great experience.” She called her Miss World win not only a personal triumph but also a proud moment for Thailand, bringing her country recognition on the global stage.
