MNS Chief intervenes in MPSC Crisis: Holds high-level talks with CM Fadnavis

Mumbai, Oct 9 (UNI) A commitment made directly to protesting civil service aspirants, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) President Raj Thackeray on Friday held extensive discussions with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in Mumbai regarding the ongoing Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) agitation.
After the high-level meeting, Thackeray struck an optimistic note, saying the state administration is addressing the core grievances positively and that a favorable announcement for job aspirants is expected soon.
The dialogue follows Thackeray’s October 5 visit to Pune, where he met agitating MPSC candidates and assured them that their legitimate demands would be escalated directly to the state leadership. In a detailed public statement issued via social media under the customary salutation "Sasneha Jai Maharashtra," Thackeray stated that CM Fadnavis responded with absolute positivity and receptiveness during their deliberations.
Expressing deep anguish over the plight of young job seekers, the MNS chief noted that witnessing youth toil endlessly away from their families and hometowns for employment remains a matter of grave concern. While projecting an imminent breakthrough regarding pending job placements and administrative reforms, Thackeray formally urged the student fraternity to maintain administrative patience while official protocols are completed.
