Monsoon session of Bihar Legislature from July 21

Patna, June 20 (UNI) Monsoon session of the Bihar Legislature will be held from July 21 to 25 ahead of the Assembly elections due in the state in October-November this year.
A letter issued here on Friday by Bihar assembly secretary incharge Khyati Singh said Governor Arif Mohammed Khan has convened the monsoon session of both the Houses from July 21.
According to the detailed programme of the session, the first supplementary for the financial year 2025-26 would be tabled on the opening day of the session in both Houses.
A debate would be held on July 24 on the first supplementary income and expenditure.
It may be mentioned the tenure of the 17th Bihar assembly is due to expire on November 22 this year prior to which the Assembly Elections have to be conducted.
The last elections were held in between October 28 to November 7 in 3 phases in 2020. UNI RS SSP
