Hyderabad, Apr 4 (UNI) MS Agarwal Foundries, a leader in high-quality steel manufacturing, launched its latest innovation — MS Life 600+ CRS (Corrosion Resistant Steel) TMT bars — at a grand event held at a private hotel in Secunderabad on Friday.

Speaking at the launch, Pramod Agarwal, Managing Director of MS Agarwal Foundries, reiterated the company’s commitment to innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction.

He said that the company is now the largest steel producer in South India and continues to grow steadily.

He noted that MS Agarwal Foundries was the first to introduce MS Life 500, 550, 600, and now the 600+ CRS TMT bars in South India.

He added that innovation is deeply embedded in the company’s DNA and that they take pride in offering cutting-edge solutions to meet India’s diverse infrastructure demands.

Agarwal announced that the company aims to reach a production milestone of six lakh metric tonnes by 2026, leveraging technological advancements and a broadened product portfolio.

He described the MS Life 600+ CRS TMT as more than just a product, calling it a promise of strength, safety, and longevity. Designed to resist both earthquakes and corrosion, the rebars are positioned as the ideal choice for engineers, builders, and homebuyers across the country.

He emphasised that MS Life is evolving from a strong regional player into a truly national brand, committed to supporting India’s infrastructure with reliable and high-performance steel.

MS Life President Gautam Ganeriwal announced that the company is backing this innovation with an investment of over Rs 1,200 crore over the next three to four years. This investment will be used to scale up production fivefold, expand the dealer network from 4,000 to more than 10,000, and create over 5,000 direct and indirect jobs, up from the current 3,800.

The company also aims to achieve a production capacity of 1.2 million tonnes per annum, double the number of homes built using MS Life steel from 25,000 in 2024 to 50,000 in 2025, expand its Cut & Bend services, and establish a new power plant to support its growing operations.

President Sujay Kumar also addressed the gathering and reiterated the company’s vision for growth, innovation, and excellence in service delivery.

The newly launched bars are manufactured at Unit 1 in Toopran Mandal, Telangana, and Unit 2 in Naidupeta, Andhra Pradesh, using advanced German HYQST (High Yield Quenching & Self Tempering) technology, ensuring superior strength, safety, and durability.

A large number of company employees were present at the launch event, which marked a significant milestone in the company's journey of transforming the steel industry in India.
