Murlikant Petkar congratulates Kartik Aaryan on National Award win

Mumbai, Sep 23 (UNI) Murlikant Petkar has congratulated Kartik Aaryan on being named Best Actor at the 72nd National Film Awards for his performance in "Chandu Champion", which is based on Petkar’s life.
Petkar, whose inspiring life story forms the basis of the Kabir Khan-directed film, shared his congratulations on his official Instagram handle, calling the honour a matter of great pride.
"Heartiest congratulations to Actor Kartik Aaryan on receiving the National Film Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for Chandu Champion at the 72nd National Film Awards. This truly is a moment of immense pride, and I am incredibly happy for Kartik on this remarkable achievement. His dedication, transformation, and emotionally powerful performance have rightfully earned him this honour."
Petkar also praised the film's director, Kabir Khan and producer Sajid Nadiadwala.
He said that Khan presented his story on screen with honesty and sensitivity, while the entire team contributed significantly to the film's success.
He said that "Chandu Champion" is not just a film, but a story of passion, hard work, and the spirit of never giving up.
The film conveys the message that with the right mindset and dedication, even the biggest goals can be achieved.
The 35-year-old actor put in a lot of effort into his look and fitness to play Petkar.
