Patna, Oct 26 (UNI) Bihar Rural Works Minister and senior Janata Dal (United) leader Sunil Kumar Tuesday expressed confidence that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) would win all eight teachers’ and graduates’ constituency seats in the Bihar Legislative Council elections.
Speaking to journalists at the JD(U) state headquarters here, Kumar said the trend among voters appeared to favour the NDA and expressed confidence that all candidates supported by the alliance would emerge victorious.
He said Bihar had witnessed development across all sections of society under the leadership of Nitish Kumar, adding that the latter had translated the principle of development with justice into action and brought significant changes to the state.
Responding to a statement by Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, the minister termed it condemnable. He said political differences were an integral part of democracy, but public representatives should maintain decorum and use dignified language in public life.

Meanwhile, Bihar Science, Technology and Technical Education Minister Sheela Mandal also heard grievances of people from various districts at the public hearing programme.
