Dy CM Pawan Kalyan to attend CII Regional Conference in Kakinada on Monday

Kakinada, Oct 11 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, government secretaries, collectors of five districts, representatives of companies, MSMEs and startups will attend the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) regional conference scheduled to be held at the JNTU premises in Kakinada on October 12.
Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) Chief Executive Officer S. Shanmohan announced this on Sunday, stating that the conference aims to accelerate industrial development, attract investments and create opportunities for businesses in international markets.
Shanmohan, along with district collector Harendhira Prasad, Joint Collector Apurva Bharat, CII representatives and event organisers, inspected the conference venue and reviewed arrangements, including the AP Pavilion, local products exhibition, One District One Product (ODOP) stalls, MSME exhibition, registration counters, seating and food facilities.
He said the regional conference was being organised as a preparatory event for the 31st Indian Industries Federation partnership meet.
The conference will focus on creating awareness among entrepreneurs about government subsidies, bank credit facilities, the single-desk portal, simplified trade licensing procedures and investment opportunities.
It will also facilitate linkages between local enterprises and large companies, Shanmohan said.
District Industries Centre General Manager Ch. Ganapathi, APIIC Zonal Manager A. Ramanareddy, CII representatives and officials from various departments accompanied the CEO during the inspection.
