Agilisium to Shift Asia Headquarters to Hyderabad, Targets $500 Million Revenue

Hyderabad, Oct 27 (UNI) Agilisium, a life sciences innovation and transformation company, on Tuesday announced plans to shift its Asia headquarters from Chennai to Hyderabad, with a target of achieving $500 million in revenue and expanding its workforce to around 5,000 specialised professionals over the next five to seven years.
The proposed relocation is aimed at strengthening the company's presence in Telangana's pharmaceutical and biotechnology ecosystem, while expanding its capabilities in artificial intelligence (AI), scientific research and proprietary technology development.
The company, which operates in Chennai and Pune, is targeting revenue of $72 million to $75 million by the end of 2026 and expects to cross $100 million in annual life sciences revenue in 2027.
Since entering the life sciences sector in 2018, Agilisium has developed capabilities across research and drug discovery, clinical development, manufacturing and commercial operations.
Its growth strategy focuses on combining scientific expertise, industry knowledge and advanced AI to develop specialised solutions and proprietary intellectual property.
Raj Babu, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Agilisium, said Hyderabad was well positioned to support the next phase of innovation by bringing together technology, scientific expertise and industry knowledge.
He appreciated the Telangana government's efforts to build the state's life sciences ecosystem, citing its industry leadership and the BioAsia platform as important factors in attracting investment and encouraging innovation.
Agilisium's strategy includes developing AI-powered platforms and specialised solutions for pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical-device companies.
Its Alexandria AI platform is designed to help life sciences commercial teams prepare for product launches and new-indication expansions, while assessing and developing specialised professionals known as Forward Deployment Experts.
The company is also developing ZenixBio to advance scientific research and innovation.
It plans to reinvest a significant portion of its profits in innovation laboratories focused on AI agents, specialised solutions and proprietary platforms.
Arun Kumar, Chief Operating Officer and Chief AI and Innovation Officer of Agilisium, said the company was investing in specialised talent, proprietary AI platforms and new delivery models to support transformation across the life sciences value chain.
The planned headquarters shift is expected to bring the company's operations closer to Hyderabad's life sciences ecosystem as it expands its specialised workforce and develops solutions for global pharmaceutical and biotechnology organisations.
