Sai Parenterals reports Rs 196 cr revenue in Q2 FY27

Hyderabad, Nov 1 (UNI) Sai Parenterals Limited has reported consolidated revenue of Rs 196.1 crore for the second quarter of FY27, registering a 9 per cent increase over the previous quarter, while EBITDA rose 67.4 per cent to Rs 41.4 crore.
The company's gross profit increased to Rs. 93.1 crore, with gross margin improving to 47.5 per cent from 40.9 per cent in Q1 FY27. Profit after tax stood at Rs. 10.5 crore for the quarter, a company statement said on Sunday.
For the first half of FY27, the company recorded revenue of Rs. 376 crore, EBITDA of Rs. 66.1 crore and profit after tax of Rs 18.4 crore. The half-year revenue represents around 50 per cent of its full-year target of Rs 750 crore.
The company also completed the acquisition of 60 per cent stakes in Saicriti Pharma and Sai Prathyak Laboratories, deploying Rs. 98.8 crore from its IPO proceeds towards the acquisitions.
The expansion of its Unit III facility at Bhongir has been completed, increasing production capacity by 81 per cent to 155 million units a month. Meanwhile, the new critical-care injectable facility at Gummadidala is targeted for completion by July 2027.
Commenting on the results, Chairman and Managing Director Anil Kumar Karusala said the improvement in profitability reflected better inventory management and operational efficiencies.
He expressed confidence about achieving the company's FY27 targets, adding that FY28 would begin to reflect the benefits of its ongoing expansion and investment initiatives.
