Hyd: Blue Cloud Softech secures $15.5 mn AI infrastructure order from IBM Cloud

Hyderabad, Sep 25 (UNI) AI-focused technology company Blue Cloud Softech Solutions Ltd on Friday said its wholly owned US subsidiary, Global Impx Inc (GIX), has received a signed Statement of Work from IBM Cloud Inc for AI infrastructure design, deployment and support services worth USD 15.5 million (about Rs 147 crore).
The Statement of Work was issued under a Master Services Agreement signed between the two companies on August 21, 2026.
Work commenced on September 24, with payments linked to five milestones from project kick-off to production go-live, the Hyderabad-based technology company said in a release.
Under the engagement, GIX will design and deploy a scalable and secure infrastructure environment for AI and machine-learning workloads, including model development, training, fine-tuning and inference.
The project will cover assessment and architecture design, deployment of GPU compute clusters, high-performance storage and networking, AI/ML platforms and Kubernetes-based orchestration, as well as security, monitoring, backup and disaster recovery.
The company will also undertake performance validation, documentation, knowledge transfer and production handover, followed by a stabilisation and support period.
The engagement includes defined service levels, including at least 99.5 per cent infrastructure and GPU availability, critical alert response within 15 minutes, and critical incident response within 30 minutes.
Blue Cloud Group Chairman Tejesh Kumar Kodali said the mandate demonstrated the company's ability to compete for and deliver AI infrastructure projects in the US market.
Group CEO and Managing Director Vinod Babu Bollikonda said the teams had already been mobilised and would deliver the project against defined milestones and service levels.
