Daifuku inaugurates Rs 2.27 bn advanced manufacturing facility in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Apr 21 (UNI) Daifuku Intralogistics India Private Limited, a subsidiary of Japan-based Daifuku Co Ltd has inaugurated a cutting-edge Rs 2.27 billion advanced manufacturing facility in Hyderabad, reinforcing its commitment to India’s growing automation and logistics sector.

Hiroshi Geshiro, CEO of Daifuku Co., Ltd., highlighted the facility’s alignment with the Make in India initiative and its role in supporting local talent, innovation, and the nation's logistics infrastructure.

Designed to serve sectors like e-commerce, retail, automotive, and pharmaceuticals, the facility will initially generate over 100 skilled jobs.

Asim Behera, CEO of Daifuku Intralogistics India, noted the company’s focus on delivering scalable, future-ready intralogistics solutions and driving sustainable growth in line with Atmanirbhar Bharat.

The project marks a significant milestone in Indo-Japanese industrial collaboration and sets the stage for further investment in R&D, technical partnerships, and green automation practices, a company release said here on Monday.
