Maha: Revised petrol, diesel prices announced

Mumbai, Jun 3 (UNI) With the latest revised rates for petrol and diesel coming into effect across Maharashtra from early Tuesday morning, citizens are encouraged to check the updated city-wise prices before refuelling, as rates can vary depending on local taxes, transportation costs and VAT (value added tax).
In Mumbai, petrol is being sold at Rs 103.50 per litre and diesel at Rs 90.03 per litre. Pune residents will pay Rs 104.14 per litre for petrol and Rs 90.67 per litre for diesel. Across other major cities, petrol rates remain above Rs 104 per litre in most places, with the highest prices—Rs 105.50 per litre—recorded in cities like Beed, Gondia, Hingoli, Jalna, Latur, Nanded, Parbhani, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg. Diesel prices in these cities stand at Rs 92.03 per litre. In Nashik, petrol is available at Rs 104.41 and diesel at Rs 91.94 per litre, while in Nagpur, petrol is at Rs 104.18 and diesel at Rs 90.74 per litre.
These daily price adjustments are influenced by international crude oil rates, currency exchange fluctuations, and local economic factors. The dynamic fuel pricing system ensures that rates are updated every morning at 6 AM, reflecting the latest market trends.
