Arunachal CM calls on Governor to discuss 'Rising Northeast' outcomes

Itanagar, May 29 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu called on state Governor Lt General (Retd) KT Parnaik on Thursday at Raj Bhavan, Itanagar, to discuss the outcomes of the recently held ‘Rising Northeast’ initiative organized by the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (MDoNER).
In the meeting, the Governor hailed Rising Northeast as a turning point in the developmental journey of the Northeast, emphasizing its role in showcasing the region’s potential in manufacturing, services, and investment opportunities.
He commended the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein for securing key MoUs with business houses, and suggested further exploring avenues for expanding business and pursuing new investments in Arunachal Pradesh.
