Sudarshan creates sand art at Puri beach to pay tribute to Air India crash victims

Puri, June 14 (UNI) Renowned sand artist Sudarsan Patnaik has created a poignant sand sculpture at Puri Beach, Odisha, to pay tribute to the victims of the recent tragic Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad.
The artwork carries the powerful message: “Never Again”, voicing a collective plea for safer skies and honoring the innocent lives lost in the tragedy.
The sculpture features symbolic elements representing flight and loss, serving as a solemn reminder of the profound human cost of aviation disasters.
The tribute has drawn significant attention from both tourists and local residents, many of whom gathered at the site today to offer prayers and heartfelt condolences.
"Art can speak when words fail," Pattnaik said. "This is not only a tribute but also a message to all — such tragic loss must never be repeated."
The sand art stands not only as a memorial but also as a call for reflection, responsibility, and collective compassion in the face of tragedy, the artist added.
