BJP govt in Assam decided to give arms license to indigenous people in vulnerable areas

Guwahati, May 28 (UNI) The Assam cabinet on Wednesday decided to give arms licenCes to original inhabitants of the state in vulnerable areas, who have been living under threat.
Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said after a cabinet meeting that it has been a long standing of people in vulnerable areas to grant arms licence to them
The chief minister said that the scheme will be applicable in those vulnerable areas where the original inhabitants of the states are a minority now.
