IAF Rescues 14 people trapped amid flood along Assam-Arunachal Pradesh border

Guwahati, June 1 (UNI) The Indian Air Force on Sunday morning rescued 14 people who got trapped in Bomjir village near the Assam-Arunachal border.
The 14 people got trapped in the village amid rising water levels in several rivers across Assam and Arunachal Pradesh due to continuous rainfall over the past few days.
The rescue operation was launched early this morning following a request made by Tinsukia District Commissioner Swapneel Paul, who had received information about the trapped individuals on Saturday evening.
