Assam CM meets Meghalaya counterpart, discusses urban flooding, border dispute

Guwahati, June 2 (UNI) Both Assam and Meghalaya on Monday agreed to find a solution to the urban flooding issue in Guwahati which would benefit both States.
Both the neighbouring states also agreed to entrust North East Space Application Centre (NESAC) to do a proper satellite mapping of the area, post which both the states will request IIT Roorkee to suggest a tangible solution to the issue of urban flooding in Guwahati.
Assam Chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said this on Monday on his X handle after meeting his Meghalaya counterpart Conrad Sangma in Guwahati on Monday to discuss several issues concerning both the states.
