BJP ready to form government in Manipur as protests continue

Imphal, May 28 UNI) The BJP is prepared to form a popular government in Manipur, said its MLA Th Radheshyam on Wednesday.
Radheshyam and some other BJP legislators called on state Governor AK Bhalla at the Raj Bhawan here to discuss the developments in Manipur in the wake of a major crisis since May 3, 2023.
Radheshyam said 44 out of 60 MLAs in Manipur are ready to form a government, but did not give the list of those legislators. The final decision will be taken by the BJP Central leadership, he added
