Criminals shoot CSP Operator, looted Rs 5 Lakh

Motihari, July 1 (UNI) In a shocking incident, some unidentified criminals looted Rs 5 lakhs from a Customer Service Point (CSP) operator after shooting him near Jamunia village under Pipra police station area East Champaran district on Tuesday.
According to the police, two motorcycle borne criminals intercepted the car of Aniruddh Kumar, a resident of Piprakothi and operator of a CSP centre near Jamunia village. The assailants smashed the car windows and looted Rs 5 lakh in cash, a signed cheque, a laptop, and other belongings. When Kumar resisted, the criminals shot him, leaving him seriously injured.
Sources added that the injured CSP operator was admitted to a nearby hospital. CCTV footage of the surrounding areas were being examined to identify the attackers.
