Odisha: Two rival groups clash over political enmity, 15 injured

Kendrapara,June 18 (UNI) As many as 15 people sustained injuries, four of them critically, in
a group clash at Baulajodi village under Aul police station on Tuesday night.
Police said two rival groups clashed over past political enmity in which a car was torched and
four two-wheelers were damaged.
The injured people have been admitted at Aul and district Head quarters hospital.At least seven injured persons were shifted to SCB medical college and hospital at cuttack.
Police said some youths from Mulasahi village were passing through Baulajodi Chowk when they were allegedly attacked by youths from the neighbouring Endola village.
Kendrapara SP Siddharth Kataria, visited the spot on Wednesday with the SDPO of Pattamundai, Khyamasagar Panda, to take stock of the situation.
A platoon of police force has been deployed in the locality to avert any lawlessness.
Meanwhile, Aul police has registered cases against 19 persons and is conducting an inquiry.
No arrest has been made so far, a raid is on to nab the accused SDPO of Pattamundai,
Khyamasagar Panda said.
