Agartala, June 6 (UNI) Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Friday informed that his government has worked on infrastructure development worth about Rs 578 crore so far this year.
The Chief Minister inaugurated as many as 10 projects virtually from Kumarghat under Unokoti district and laid the foundation stone of five projects. The central government has awarded the two underdeveloped districts of Tripura, Gomati and Dhalai, for doing exemplary development works in the past few years under BJP’s rule.
Highlighting the development, he said Kumarghat, Dharmanagar, and Udaipur railway stations in the state are being modernised. More new roads and building infrastructures have been coming up in the districts to ensure equitable growth in the state, besides development in the health sector, agriculture, sports, and artificial intelligence.
Without naming anybody, Dr Saha said that the days of politics through cunning are gone and stated, “We want to go along with everyone. But if anyone doesn't want it, there is nothing to be done. Politics by force will not be accepted under any circumstances. Simplicity doesn't mean that we will accept it if anyone says anything. Whatever needs to be done will be done strictly.”
He underlined that this government has given development as one of its top priorities. However, some people are still trying to tarnish the government. But there is a limit to everything. If anyone goes beyond the limit, it will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
