MBBS seats in Tripura increased to 500

Agartala, Sep 14 (UNI) Starting from this academic session, Tripura will see an increase in its undergraduate medical education capacity as the National Medical Commission (NMC) has raised the MBBS intake at Agartala Government Medical College (AGMC) by 50 seats, bringing the state's total capacity across three medical colleges to 500.
AGMC's annual MBBS intake has now reached 200 seats, as per the updated undergraduate seat matrix issued by the NMC's Medical Assessment and Rating Board (MARB).
Across 836 medical colleges in India, the total number of MBBS students who can pursue the course is now 1,40,214.
