Aizawl nurse honoured with Florence Nightingale Award for exceptional service

Aizawl, May 30 (UNI) V. Lalhmangaihi, a senior nursing officer at the Aizawl Civil Hospital, has been conferred the prestigious National Florence Nightingale Award by President Droupadi Murmu at a ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi, on Friday.
The National Florence Nightingale Award recognises exemplary contributions made by nursing professionals across India.
According to a press release from the Mizoram Health and Family Welfare Department, Lalhmangaihi was selected for her unwavering dedication in handling critical medical emergencies, often accompanying patients requiring urgent care outside the state without any additional financial compensation.
