Arunachal secures over Rs 300 crore investments at Rising Northeast Investors Summit

Itanagar, May 25 (UNI) In a major push towards economic growth and infrastructure development, Arunachal Pradesh secured two landmark investments during the Rising Northeast Investors Summit 2025 held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein announced the signing of two significant Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) by the Department of Planning & Investment, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, with two leading investors – Medhavi Group, and Farm Native Group.
The Medhavi Group will invest Rs 178 crore to set up the Medhavi Skills, Innovation & Tribal Entrepreneurship University at Ziro. The university aims to empower tribal youth through education, innovation, and skill-building, and is expected to create more than 430 direct employment opportunities.
In another major boost to the state’s healthcare sector, Farm Native Group will establish a 250-bed Super Speciality Hospital with an investment of Rs 150 crore. The facility is projected to generate between 900–1100 direct and 1000–1500 indirect jobs, enhancing access to advanced medical care in the region.
“These investments represent a new chapter in Arunachal Pradesh’s development journey,” Mein, who witnessed the signing of MoUs, said. “They not only address critical sectors like healthcare and education but also foster tribal empowerment and job creation.”
The Deputy Chief Minister further extended a warm invitation to potential investors to explore the opportunities in Arunachal Pradesh and the Northeast region, reiterating the government’s commitment to facilitating growth through strategic partnerships.
The summit serves as a platform to showcase the untapped potential of the Northeast and attract strategic investments aimed at inclusive and sustainable development.
