Nitish condoles killing of Bihar army soldier in J&K, announces honorarium

Patna, May 21 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar expressed deep sorrow over the killing of Army soldier Santosh Kumar Yadav during his duty in Jammu and Kashmir and announced an honorarium to the bereaved family.
In his condolence message, Kumar said here on Wednesday that he was deeply saddened by the incident and added that the country will always remember the martyrdom of Santosh Kumar Yadav of Ismailpur Bhatta village of Bhagalpur district.
The Chief Minister said that the nearest dependent of the soldier will be given an honorarium as per the rules of the state government.
Along with this, his last rites will be performed with police honors by the state government on Thursday
Soldier Santosh Kumar Yadav sacrificed his life in a terrorist incident in Jammu and Kashmir.
