Time to break the taboo on menstruation, says Odisha Dy CM Parida

Bhubaneswar, May 28 (UNI) Menstruation—a natural biological process—has long been cloaked in taboo, forcing generations of women to suffer in silence.
"It's time we break this silence," said Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida on Wednesday.
Inaugurating a Conclave on Menstrual Health and Hygiene in Bhubaneswar, Parida—who also heads the Women and Child Development Department—emphasised the need for societal transformation around menstruation.
