Nitish announces state function to commemorate Sushil Kumar Modi's death anniversary

Patna, May 13 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced that the death anniversary of former Deputy Chief Minister and Padma Bhushan Late Sushil Kumar Modi will be celebrated as a state function.
While paying tribute to the departed BJP leader in a function organised on the occasion of his death anniversary at Rani Park in Rajendranagar on Tuesday, Kumar said that a life-size statue of Modi will be installed in the park.
The Chief Minister unveiled the plaque and inaugurated the Sushil Kumar Modi Smriti Park. The park named Rani Park would be known in the name of the late Sushil Kumar Modi.
Besides the cabinet colleagues of Kumar, the Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, and other senior leaders of the BJP also paid tribute to Modi.
