Assam exploring option to set up a permanent base of Indian Army in Dhubri: Assam CM

Guwahati, June 24 (UNI) The BJP led government in Assam is exploring to set up a permanent base of the Indian Army to strengthen the security apparatus in this sensitive district.
Assam Chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said this on Tuesday after visiting Goalpara and Dhubri, which have been reactive of late following incidents of recovery of beef from some Hindu temples and other religious sites. repeated recovery beef pieces.
