Bihar cabinet approves for construction of Maa Sita temple at Punauradham: Nitish

Patna, July 1 (UNI) Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said today that the state government had approved a proposal for the construction of a magnificent Maa Sita temple at Punauradham in Sitamarhi district of Bihar.

Kumar, informing about a decision of the state cabinet, made a post on his social media account "X", stating that the proposal for the construction of Maa Sita temple was approved, with an estimated expense of Rs 882.87. Besides the Maa Sita temple, other required infrastructural facilities would be developed with the funds of Rs 882.87 crores sanctioned for the cabinet, he added.

"I have directed the authorities concerned to ensure that the foundation stone of the proposed temple be laid in the month of August itself," the Chief Minister said, adding that the people of the whole country, particularly of Bihar, were elated with the decision of the state government for the construction of the magnificent 'Maa Sita temple'. Construction works of the temple would be completed soon, he stated.
