No hope for Congress in Bihar: Jaiswal

No hope for Congress in Bihar: Jaiswal

Patna, Apr 06 (UNI) The BJP on Sunday said there was no hope for Congress in Bihar in the next assembly elections as people of the state had not forgotten the days of lawlessness and unemployment that prevailed during the regime of Congress.
Bihar BJP President Dilip Jaiswal said here that the visit of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to Bihar would not help in reviving the fate of the party in the state in the next assembly elections. It was well known that Congress suffered crushing defeats in any state where Gandhi visited and campaigned for the party, he pointed out.
" Speech of Gandhi carries a bunch of lies, negativity and false allegations, which are not accepted by the people ", Jaiswal said, adding that the visit of Gandhi to any state was only aimed at coverage in the media, to keep relevance for him. The BJP government had provided free ration to the poor, toilets, and dwelling units for the poor, so there was no meaning for any movement or agitation by Congress in such a scenario, he pointed out.
