Nitish govt failed to check migration of labourers from Bihar: Congress

Darbhanga, Mar 24 (UNI) Congress on Monday alleged that the Nitish Kumar government had miserably failed in checking the migration of labourers from Bihar to other parts of the country in search of their livelihood.
Chairman of the media and publicity cell of Congress Pawan Khera told media persons that tall claims of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar stood exposed as three crore registered labourers of Bihar had no source of livelihood in the state. They were forced to migrate to other states of the country to earn their livelihood, he pointed out.
The Congress leader said that his party had taken out the "Palayan Roko Rojgar Do" Yatra, which would pass through different districts of Bihar before culminating in Patna. It was an attempt of his party to create awareness among the people about the failures of the Nitish Kumar government in providing livelihood to a large number of labourers of the state, he added.
