Jharkhand Congress questions Nitin Nabin over ‘Mann Ki Baat’, raises youth, tribal issues

Ranchi, Oct 25 (UNI) The Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee on Sunday criticised BJP national president Nitin Nabin for listening to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 139th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ while sitting on the ground, questioning his response to concerns of unemployed youth, tribal communities and families seeking justice.
Congress state media in-charge Rakesh Sinha alleged that BJP leaders were willing to listen to the Prime Minister in front of cameras but were reluctant to address public concerns over employment, tribal rights and justice.
Questioning Nabin, Sinha asked when the BJP leadership would listen to the concerns of young people facing unemployment and uncertainty about their future, as well as tribal communities raising questions over their rights.
He also raised the case of Ankita Bhandari, asking when her family would get justice and whether the BJP national president would sit with those seeking justice to hear their concerns.
Sinha said public representatives should respond to people's questions rather than limit themselves to symbolic gestures and public appearances. He said employment, rights and justice were among the issues requiring answers from political leadership.
The Congress leader urged the BJP to move beyond what he described as “politics in front of cameras” and engage directly with people facing hardship.
He said the real test of leadership was whether it listened to public grievances and responded to them, adding that the concerns of young people, tribal communities and families seeking justice could not be addressed through speeches and assurances alone.
