Agartala: CRPF initiates job for 50 sports talents from Northeast

Agartala, Sept 8 (UNI) Offering a significant opportunity for sportspersons from the Northeast, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has initiated a process to identify 50 promising sports talents from the region who have represented their respective State or National-level teams and won medals in recognised sporting disciplines.
Officials said the initiative follows a recent meeting chaired by union Home Minister Amit Shah, held to identify 50 promising and talented sportspersons from the Northeast for consideration for enlistment in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs).
