Sanjay Kapoor turns emotional at the trailer launch of Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan

Mumbai, 2 July (UNI) Emotions ran high at the trailer launch of "Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyaan", as seasoned actor Sanjay Kapoor was visibly overwhelmed while witnessing his daughter Shanaya Kapoor step into the cinematic spotlight with her debut.
Accompanied by his wife Maheep Kapoor, Sanjay attended the event to support Shanaya, who stars opposite Vikrant Massey in the romantic drama helmed by director Santosh Singh.
Speaking on stage, fighting back tears, Sanjay Kapoor said, “Main pichle 30 saal se kaam kar raha hoon, but itna nervous nahi raha. Aaj main bahot nervous hoon. Usse pehle ke kuch aansoon nikal jaaye, thank you.” (I have been working for the past 30 years, and I've never been this nervous. Today I'm very nervous. Before I shed a few tears. Thank you)
The film is presented by Zee Studios and Mini Films and jointly produced by Mansi Bagla, Varun Bagla and Open Window Films, the film is slated for a theatrical release, on July 11, 2025. UNI NST SSP
