Sudhanshu Rai to bring Detective Boomrah live to HorrorCon in Delhi

New Delhi, Oct 29 (UNI) Storyteller, actor and filmmaker Sudhanshu Rai will present his fictional detective character, Detective Boomrah, in a live storytelling performance at HorrorCon 2026 in New Delhi on November 1.
Titled ‘Detective Boomrah Live’, the performance will take place in the festival’s Geek Zone at NSIC Grounds, Okhla, marking the character’s debut in a live storytelling format.
Known for investigating mysteries involving supernatural occurrences, parallel universes, time travel and unexplained phenomena, Detective Boomrah has featured in more than 25 cases created by Rai, attracting audiences interested in mystery, science fiction and supernatural thrillers.
The character has also expanded into digital entertainment, with the OTT series ‘Detective Boomrah and the Missing Man’ gaining popularity among viewers. Rai has recently unveiled the first look of his upcoming series, ‘Detective Boomrah and the Killer’, which is slated for release soon.
The live performance aims to take the character beyond digital platforms and OTT storytelling, bringing audiences an experience built around dramatic narration, suspense and mysteries unfolding in real time.
“Detective Boomrah has always been about exploring mysteries that challenge our understanding of reality. From supernatural phenomena to parallel universes and time travel, his cases take audiences into the unexplained,” Rai said.
He added that bringing the character to HorrorCon would allow the team to create an immersive storytelling experience in which suspense unfolds before a live audience.
Divay Agarwal, founder of Khooni Monday and HorrorCon India, said the performance would give fans an opportunity to experience the world of Detective Boomrah on stage.
HorrorCon 2026 brings together enthusiasts of horror, mystery, fantasy and pop culture. Tickets for the November 1 event are available on SkillBox.
