The song of life: Springdales School celebrates dreams, courage and excellence at annual day

New Delhi, Oct 31 (UNI) Students of Springdales School, Dhaula Kuan, presented a ballet highlighting the values of freedom, courage and ambition at the school's annual day and prize-giving ceremony.
Titled "The Song of Life", the ballet, adapted from Russian writer Maxim Gorky's short story "The Song of the Falcon", was staged on Friday at the Rajni Kumar Hall of Friendship and Peace on the school premises.
The performance contrasted the freedom and daring of a falcon with the earthly contentment of a snake, symbolising human apathy. Dedicated to Dr Rajni Kumar, founder of Springdales School, the presentation celebrated her vision of inspiring generations of students to "dream, discover and soar".
