People may change Opposition if Rahul Gandhi continues with ‘model of anarchy’, warns BJP

New Delhi, Nov 3 (UNI) The BJP on Tuesday warned the Congress and allies that if Rahul Gandhi persists with his “model of anarchy” for a “regime change”, people would find an alternative to them in the opposition space. Gandhi’s “model of anarchy” does not have any takers, BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia claimed, addressing media persons.
“All of them, including anarchic Cockroach and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, are presenting a model of anarchy before the country” for a “regime change”.
Bhatia warned that those who want a regime change in India might instead see the people deciding that the “opposition is irresponsible and should be changed”.
“I say this with a lot of responsibility that those wanting a regime change might witness a situation where people of the country feel that the Opposition is irresponsible and should be changed. The public will find an alternative to the opposition. Rahul Gandhi, Mamata Banerjee or Tejashwi Yadav will not gain anything through anarchy. This public will put an end to your political careers; India’s democracy will remain intact,” he said.
Bhatia claimed that even within the Congress, senior leaders do not agree with the “anarchist model of Rahul Gandhi.”
“They feel this will lead to complete collapse and destruction of the Congress,” he added while reiterating the allegation that the opposition protests in the country are fuelled by foreign funding.
Rahul Gandhi on Monday hit back at Prime Minister Narendra Modi for accusing the opposition of taking foreign help to destabilise the country and challenged him to an open debate on the issue. He also accused Modi of occupying the prime minister’s chair with “foreign help”.
Describing Rahul Gandhi as a ''destructive figure who supports anarchy'', he called India’s strengths its strong democratic framework. “If India has one great strength, it is its democratic government, its reverence for the Constitution, and the stability it has maintained for 12 years. On the other hand, there is an opposition that is anarchic in its thinking, anti-constitutional, and openly speaks of overthrowing the government. Rahul Gandhi believes in anarchy and destruction; it is not for nothing that he is called a ‘Bhasmasura’ (a destructive force). He has become the kind of leader who seeks to usher in anarchy by killing democracy, strangling it to death.”
