Tharoor-led All Party Parliamentary delegation in US, to meet Congress, administration, media

Washington/New Delhi, June 4 (UNI) An all-party parliamentary delegation led by MP Shashi Tharoor arrived in Washington, where over the next two days they will be meeting members of the US Congress and administration, think tanks, media and policymakers as part of India’s global outreach against terrorism.
The Indian Embassy in the US said in post on X:
“An all party delegation led by Dr. @ShashiTharoor arrives in Washington D.C. Over the next two days the delegation will be meeting members of the US Congress and administration, think tanks, media and policymakers to brief them on Operation Sindoor and India's strong stand against terrorism.”
The delegation comprises:
Shashi Tharoor, MP and Chairperson of the Standing Committee on External Affairs; Bhubaneswar Kalita, Rajya Sabha MP, Chairperson of the Standing Committee on Science and Technology, Environment, Forest and Climate Change and Member of the Consultative Committee for the Ministry of Home Affairs; Milind Deora, Rajya Sabha MP; Sarfraz Ahmad, Rajya Sabha MP, Member of the Standing Committee on Railways and of the Consultative Committee for the Ministry of Coal and Ministry of Mines; Tejasvi Suryanaryana, Lok Sabha MP, Member of the Committee on Public Accounts, Standing Committee on Science &Technology, Environment& Forest and the Standing Committee on Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Food Processing.
Shashank Mani Tripathi, Lok Sabha MP, Member of the Standing Committee on Defence and the Consultative Committee for Finance; Ganti Harish Madhur, Lok Sabha MP, Member of the Standing Committee on Labour, Textiles and Skill Development; Taranjit Singh Sandhu, Former Ambassador of India to the USA and former High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka.
The delegation is in Washington from June 3-5.
