New Delhi, June 9 (UNI) In keeping with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Go Local, Go Vocal’, the Technology Development Board (TDB) under the Department of Science and Technology has extended financial aid to a Hyderabad-based private startup Autocracy Machinery.
The funding is aimed at the commercialisation of advanced trencher technology developed in-house by the startup, according to a statement by the Union Science and Technology Ministry.
Led by first-generation entrepreneur Santhoshi Sushma Budhiraju, the startup is working toward establishing India as a hub for specialised construction and agricultural machinery. With an in-house R&D team, it is also setting up a full-scale manufacturing facility to cater to both domestic and international markets, said the statement.
TDB Secretary Rajesh Kumar Pathak emphasised the initiative's alignment with national goals of infrastructure development, digital connectivity, and self-reliance in manufacturing. Budhiraju expressed that the government’s backing will enable them to deliver globally competitive, sustainable trenching solutions made entirely in India.
These tractor-mounted attachments ensure high-precision trenching with minimal soil disruption, offering ease of deployment across urban, rural, and remote terrains, as per the statement. UNI AJ SSP
