Several seriously injured as Mumbai-Konkan-bound vehicle crashes in Rajapur

Ratnagiri, Sep 13 ( UNI) Eight to 10 people were seriously injured on Sunday when a vehicle carrying about 15 passengers from Mumbai to their native place in Konkan for the Ganesh festival met with an accident near Ankita Palace at Hativale in Rajapur taluka on Sunday morning.
The injured passengers, reportedly residents of Kunkavale in Malvan taluka of Sindhudurg district, were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
According to preliminary information, eight to ten passengers sustained serious injuries in the accident. The passengers are reportedly residents of Kunkavale in Malvan taluka of Sindhudurg district. Soon after receiving information about the accident, local residents rushed to the spite and helped with rescue operations. The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
