Truck fell into ditch in Rajgarh, owner dead, one injured

Nahan, Nov 7 (UNI) One person was killed and another peeson injured after a truck lost control and fell into a deep ditch in Rajgarh on Saturday.
The deceased was indentified as the truck owner Teeka Ram, son of Sant Ram, resident of Housing Board Colony, Sanjoli, District Shimla. The other person named Deepak, son of Suba Ram, resident of Nepal, was also travelling in the truck.
District SP NS Negi stated that Hira Singh, son of Mohan Singh, resident of village Dhali, post office Devthi Majhgaon, district Sirmaur, recorded a statement at the Rajgarh police station stating that a loud noise was suddenly heard at around 12:20 am today.
Upon arriving at the scene with villagers, police found the truck in a badly damaged condition in Ghasni, approximately 400-500 meters below the road. The driver's body was found trapped in the damaged cabin of the truck.
This accident was found to have occurred due to rash and negligent driving by the truck driver.
A case has been registered at Police Station Rajgarh and further investigation is underway in the matter. UNI SPJ CDS
