Shrikant Sharma lashed out at Akhilesh Yadav, saying he was too late to visit the Ram temple.

Mathura, Nov 7 (UNI) BJP MLA Shrikant Sharma Saturday slammed Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav's proposed visit to Ayodhya to pray at the Ram Temple.
Attacking Yadav, Shrikant Sharma said he was too late to visit the temple. Calling Akhilesh Yadav and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi "election Sanatanis," Sharma said that these people only pretend to be Sanatan Hindus during elections. This guise vanishes as soon as the elections are over.
Sharma said that Akhilesh Yadav should atone for the incidents when Ram devotees or Kar seveks were shot during his father's government in the state before going to Ayodhya. He alleged that during that time, the waters of the Saryu River ran red with the blood of Ram devotees, and the country will never forget that dark truth.
The BJP leader who is also the party's Himachal Pradesh in-charge said: "As elections approach, whether it's Akhilesh Yadav or Rahul Gandhi, they pretend to wear saffron scarves and sacred threads over their jackets. But once the elections are over, they return to their caste- and religious-based politics" He said that the public knows everything and will never forgive them.
On the contrary, praising the BJP's policies, Sharma said that the Bharatiya Janata Party works on the principle of "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas." The government's welfare schemes are benefiting every section of the society equally, without any discrimination. He expressed confidence that the public is now fully aware, and on the strength of development, the lotus will bloom for the third time in Uttar Pradesh. UNI MBD CDS
