Punjab: Woman killed, 13 hurt as air conditioner compressor bursts in Gurdwara

Rupnagar, June 3 (UNI) One woman devotee died and 13 others were injured when the compressor of an air conditioner burst during a religious congregation at a Gurdwara near here in Punjab on Tuesday,
The incident happened while bhog and antim ardas (final prayer) of Sant Khushhal Singh was on at Gurdwara Sant Baba Jogg Head Darbar Kot Puran.
The injured were rushed to Parmar hospital, which has confirmed the death of the woman.

Amritsar, June 7 (UNI) In a significant breakthrough against illegal arms smuggling networks, Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) Border Range Amritsar has arrested three associates of jailed kingpin Jugraj Singh and recovered six sophisticated foreign-made weapons smuggled from across the border from their possession, said DGP Punjab Gaurav Yadav here on Saturday.
