Faridabad: German firm to hire 180 skilled technicians from J.C. Bose University, YMCA in 2027

Faridabad, Oct 28 (UNI) A German company, Coating Concepts, has announced plans to recruit about 180 skilled technicians and industrial coating specialists from J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, opening a major international employment pathway for its students.
Recruitment will begin in 2027, and selected candidates will receive A2-level German language training before moving to Germany.
A high-level German delegation visited the university and inspected its skill-training facilities.
The delegation comprised Janina Radovic, Managing Director of Coating Concepts; Andreas Faller, Head of Logistics and Work Preparation; and Production Managers David Frank and Sergius Steinmark.
The visit was coordinated by Albert Baker, CEO of International Talent Solutions, along with Raj Vangapandu, President, and Rajeev Gulati, Director, of the Indo Euro Synchronization Group.
At a formal session in the boardroom, the university's Dean of Institutions, Prof. Munish Vashisth, and Prof. Sanjeev Goyal, Principal of the Community College of Skill Development, coordinated the meeting. It was chaired by Prof. Naresh Chauhan, Dean of Academic Affairs.
Prof. Rajesh Ahuja, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, delivered the welcome address, highlighting the university's proud legacy and historic ties with German institutions.
A documentary on the university's journey and key achievements was also screened.
Dr. Rashmi Popli outlined the university's academic strengths and research activities, stressing the scope for industry-academia collaboration. She said 23 startups are operating on campus across seven areas of emerging technologies and sustainable development.
Dr. Vimlesh Ojha said the Community College's skill programmes follow the government's skill mission and the National Skills Qualifications Framework, so that they can meet the global demand for a technically skilled workforce.
Vangapandu and Gulati underlined Germany's growing demand for skilled technical personnel. Vangapandu said Coating Concepts will hire qualified technicians for process mechanic positions in the automotive and industrial coating sector.
Radovic and Faller briefed students on career prospects, workplace standards and the technical competencies required in Germany's automotive and industrial coating industry. They assured full support to selected candidates with language certification and the process of starting work in Germany.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sanjay Kaushik expressed delight at the international engagement. He said the collaboration reflects the university's commitment to providing students with global career opportunities, and that it matters especially for students of the skill-based Community College.
He added that the university's practical skill-training framework is built to international standards and that the partnership will open new routes to global employment for young people.
Registrar Prof. Ajay Ranga said hosting the German delegation was a matter of pride.
Connecting students directly with global employers and preparing them technically and linguistically, he said, reflects the university's broader priorities of skill empowerment and student placement.
During the visit, the delegation interacted with Community College students training in industrial and automotive coating, assessing their practical skills, workplace experience and readiness for employment in Germany.
The delegation then toured the campus and inspected the central workshop and laboratories to review the technical training facilities.
At the close of the programme, Prof. Naresh Chauhan proposed the vote of thanks and expressed gratitude to the international delegation. Heads of various teaching departments and a large number of faculty members were present.
