Rajnath, Yogi, Naidu Offer Prayers at Kashi Vishwanath Temple for Modi’s Long Life

Varanasi, Sep 17 (UNI) Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and other NDA and BJP leaders on Thursday offered prayers at the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 76th birthday and prayed for his good health and long life.
The leaders performed special prayers and rituals at the temple and sought blessings for Modi’s continued health and longevity, so that the country could move towards the goal of a developed India.
Yogi Adityanath said the occasion is a matter of “pride and good fortune” and expressed hope that Modi would continue to lead the country for a long time.
He said this would help realise the resolve of 1.4 billion Indians for a self-reliant, secure and developed India and enable the country to move towards becoming the world’s leading economy.
Naidu said PM Modi’s birthday is being celebrated in Kashi with the blessings of Baba Vishwanath and described the historic city as a place offering a unique experience.
He said the Prime Minister’s 25 years of public life remains consistently dedicated to the country and extended his birthday greetings to Modi.
On the occasion, the leaders also honoured sanitation workers and temple priests at Kashi Vishwanath Dham and distributed prasad among devotees.
