Under PM Modi's leadership, secure India now engages with world on equal terms: CM Yogi

Varanasi, Sep 17 (UNI) On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 76th birthday, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched the 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' (Service Pledge Campaign) in Kashi.
At the Rudraksh International Cooperation and Convention Centre on Thursday, the Defence Minister, the Chief Minister, and other leaders viewed an exhibition titled '25 Years: From Public Service to Nation Service,' which chronicles the life of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Defence Minister and the Chief Minister flagged off the 'Seva Sankalp Bike Yatra,' a journey travelling from Varanasi—the Prime Minister's karmabhumi (land of work)—to Vadnagar, his birthplace. Five hundred youths riding 250 bikes will complete this journey.
Flowers were showered upon the youths as the rally commenced. A short film highlighting the positive transformations the country has witnessed under the Prime Minister's leadership was also screened at the event.
The Chief Minister extended birthday greetings to the Prime Minister and popular MP of Kashi, Narendra Modi. He prayed to Baba Vishwanath, Maa Ganga, and Maa Annapurna for the Prime Minister's good health and long life, and for the realization of the vision of a self-reliant and developed India under his leadership.
Describing this year as highly significant, the CM noted that the Prime Minister will complete 25 years of his pledge of service on October 7, 2026. Modi ji took the oath as the Chief Minister of Gujarat on October 7, 2001.
He has advanced this journey without stopping, bending, or wavering, guided by the mantra of 'Charaiveti-Charaiveti' (keep moving forward).
Witnessing his glorious journey as Prime Minister—marked by penance, hard work, and dedication—citizens across the country feel a sense of pride in the 'New India.' Under Modi ji's leadership, a secure India now engages with the world on equal terms.
CM Yogi also shed light on PM Modi's personality and achievements. He stated that two journeys are commencing today.
Modi ji was born 75 years ago in the ancient village of Vadnagar in Gujarat. Ten separate journeys, each involving 25 motorcycles, will commence carrying water from Gujarat's sacred rivers. Similarly, ten journeys carrying water from ten sacred rivers of Uttar Pradesh will set out from Kashi, traversing various routes to reach Vadnagar.
These journeys will highlight the significance of Kashi and Vadnagar across ten states. The water from UP's holy rivers will be offered to Lord Hatkeshwar in Vadnagar, while the water from Gujarat's rivers will be dedicated to Baba Vishwanath.
The Chief Minister remarked that the youth—symbols of energy—have become participants in this journey. Commending the young people dedicating their time to this 20-day motorcycle expedition, the CM noted that as part of this journey promoting the 'Ek Bharat-Shreshtha Bharat' (One India, Great India) spirit, the youth are expected to cover 100 kilometres daily and participate in four major events.
Through this thrilling expedition, the youth will also engage in dialogue and service-oriented programs across different states. This journey, spanning from today until October 7, will remain a memorable experience.
The CM recalled that a journey had begun from Vadnagar 75 years ago. The world has witnessed Modi ji's journey from his birth in an ordinary family to becoming the Prime Minister of India and the most popular leader globally.
Every citizen of India has directly or indirectly participated in the journey of service that Modi ji initiated from Gujarat 25 years ago.
The CM recounted the story of transformation witnessed during the Prime Minister's remarkable 25-year journey. He noted that villages have become self-reliant, telling their own stories of change. While the poor lacked housing for decades after independence, PM Modi provided homes to 40 million (4 crore) people within just 12 years.
Highlighting the issue of women's dignity, the CM spoke of the transformation achieved; previously, women had to wait for darkness to relieve themselves due to the lack of household toilets, but today, toilets constructed in 120 million (12 crore) homes stand as symbols of women's dignity.

The Chief Minister stated that this journey—marking PM Modi's 25-year pledge of service—narrates the story of youth securing jobs based solely on merit, free from the need for recommendations or under-the-table dealings.
It also tells the story of the transformation brought to the lives of mothers across 11 crore families through the Ujjwala Yojana. Villages that had remained without electricity for decades after independence now see a bright, steady glow in every home.
Internet and banking services are now reaching every village. This is also the story of the underprivileged individual for whom PM Modi, through his vision, created a healthy environment to help them establish themselves as part of the mainstream.
The journey also encompasses the story of the transformation in the lives of 60 crore people brought about by the annual health insurance coverage provided under Ayushman Bharat.
The Chief Minister noted that 80 crore people in the country have been receiving free rations continuously since the COVID period. He also highlighted infrastructure developments, including road, air, and rail connectivity, as well as metro networks.
He mentioned that numerous units have been established in India's semiconductor sector, with production already underway. India is scaling new heights in fields such as quantum computing, the AI mission, drone technology, and robotics. UNI MBD SAS
