Chandigarh, June 4 (UNI) With the arrest of a person from Hisaar of Haryana, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Wednesday claimed to have cracked a case of rape and sexual assault of multiple minor female victims.
CBI, in a release, said that a case was registered on May 29 on the allegations that the accused was creating, browsing, collecting, processing and uploading child sexual abuse material (CSAM) depicting children in sexual acts in electronic form and storage of pornographic material involving children.
CBI further said that the victims or their family had not reported the incidents to any law enforcement agency, and CBI detected the instance of child sexual abuse on its own.
