Haryana Police arrest 66 cybercrime suspects in Faridabad, freeze ₹39.73 lakh

Panchkula, Sep 20 (UNI) Haryana Police arrested 66 alleged cyber fraudsters in Faridabad within a week and recovered ₹4.90 lakh from the accused, while ₹39.73 lakh was frozen in bank accounts linked to cyber fraud complaints, a police spokesperson said on Sunday.
The action was carried out by teams from Faridabad's three cyber police stations between September 12 and 18 under the supervision of DCP Headquarters Himadri Kaushik.
According to the official, the 66 accused were arrested in connection with 12 cybercrime cases. Of these, three cases were registered at Cyber Police Station NIT, six at Cyber Police Station Central and three at Cyber Police Station Ballabgarh.
