Haryana Police seize 35 cartons of illegally stored firecrackers from Karnal house; one arrested

Panchkula, Sep 20 (UNI) Haryana Police seized 35 cartons of firecrackers allegedly stored illegally inside a residential house in Karnal district and arrested the house owner after he failed to produce a valid licence or permit, a police spokesperson said on Sunday.
Acting on specific information, a team from Nissing police station raided a house in Guliyani village, where the firecrackers were allegedly being stored without authorisation.
The operation was carried out under the supervision of Karnal Superintendent of Police Karn Goyal, with the police team led by Nissing Station House Officer Inspector Krishna Kumar, the spokesperson said.
