HP: Three arrested under NDPS Act, contrabrand seized

Dharamshala, Apr 20 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh police arrested three persons under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, and seized 1.338 kgs of charas at two different places in Kangra district, an official said here on Sunday.
Kangra district Superintendent of Police Shalini Agnihotri told UNI that 1.3 kg of charas was recovered from a vehicle near the old gate of Kangra Airport at Gaggal. In this regard, a case has been registered against the two people travelling in the vehicle under Sections 20, 29-61-85 of the NDPS Act and Section 281 of the Indian Penal Code at the Gaggal police station.
She said that in another case, police seized 38.93 grams of charas from a person. A case has been registered in Kangra Police Station.
